Vehant Technologies Raises $9 Million from True North

Vehant has stated that the investment is expected to boost its revenue to Rs 350 crore by FY26.

Vehant Technologies, a homegrown security and surveillance solutions provider, has raised $9 million (approximately Rs 75-77 crore) from the private credit fund of investment firm True North.

The Noida-based company plans to allocate 75% of the funds to research and development (R&D) to advance its solutions in aviation security, enterprise analytics, and smart city technology. As part of this initiative, Vehant will hire over 75 R&D specialists, expanding its workforce to more than 500 employees.

Founded in 2005 by Kapil Bardeja and Anoop Prabhu and incubated at IIT Delhi, Vehant specializes in AI-driven security solutions, including advanced surveillance systems, smart city applications, and enterprise analytics.

The company operates manufacturing units in Greater Noida and Himachal Pradesh.

Vehant has stated that the investment is expected to boost its revenue to Rs 350 crore by FY26. Additionally, the funds will support its upcoming IPO planned within the next 12 to 18 months and facilitate exports to key markets in the Middle East and Europe.

“This fundraise from True North will help us develop and launch more cutting-edge products in the areas of aviation security, smart cities, and enterprise analytics,” said Kapil Bardeja, CEO and Co-founder of Vehant Technologies.
