Reliance Retail has unveiled its omni-channel platform has launched Tira, an online beauty platform, with the aim of revolutionizing the beauty industry in India. The platform offers a wide range of skincare, makeup, and hair care products from both domestic and international brands. To kick off the launch, Reliance Retail has opened its flagship Tira store at Jio World Drive in Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai, in addition to rolling out the Tira app and website.
As per a 2021 report by Statista, a worldwide market research platform, India ranked fourth in terms of revenue generated from the beauty and personal care industry, trailing only behind the US, China, and Japan. The report forecasts an 18.2% growth in online sales for the sector in the coming years.
The launch of Tira is a significant milestone for Reliance Retail, which has been expanding its presence in the e-commerce market in India. The online beauty platform is expected to give major competition to Nykaa, which currently dominates the beauty e-commerce market in India.

In addition to its online platform, Tira provides access to blogs, tutorials, trend-setting tips, personalized recommendations, and a virtual try-on feature. The physical stores will include dedicated gifting stations to customize purchases, along with the Fragrance Finder, a feature that assists customers in finding fragrances that best align with their preferences.
