Swish, a Bengaluru-based 10-minute food delivery startup, raised $2 million (over ₹16 crore) in its seed funding round.

The investment was led by venture capital firm Accel, with participation from prominent angel investors, including Karthik Gurumurthy, the former head of Swiggy Instamart, and Abhiraj Bhal and Varun Khaitan, founders of Urban Company.

With the fresh funding, the startup plans to scale its operations and expand its footprint in Bengaluru. Swish aims to set up 150 “centres” across the city and expand to other tier-I cities in the near future.

Founded in August 2024 by Aniket Shah, Saran S, and Ujjwal Sukheja, Swish began its operations in the HSR Layout area of Bengaluru and has since expanded to parts of Bellandur.

Swish offers fast food delivery within just 10 to 15 minutes, catering to customers through its app available on both the Google Play Store and Apple Store. Since its launch, the app has seen over 10,000 downloads.

The startup manages the entire process from food preparation to delivery, operating within a compact 1.5–2 km radius.

Swish makes deliveries from its cloud kitchen, named Pod, which prepares a variety of offerings including snacks, beverages, indulgences, and meals.

Currently, Swish has about 70-80 unique SKUs listed on its app, with an average order value of INR 250-300.

By the end of November, it plans to expand its service to 4 more regions in Bengaluru, including Koramangala and Sarjapur.

Swish enters the highly competitive 10-minute food delivery segment, where quick commerce giants like Swiggy, Zepto, and Zomato are also scaling up their presence.

Swiggy, recently launched its 10-minute delivery service Bolt in six cities, including Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Chennai, Delhi, and Pune.

Zepto, which has also been expanding its Zepto Cafe service, announced plans to expand its 10-minute food delivery service to 120 cities, including Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Chennai.
