Netrasemi, a Kerala-based semiconductor technology startup, has secured ₹10 crore in a pre-Series A funding round led by Unicorn India Ventures.
The funds will be utilized for the fabrication of two machine learning system-on-chips (SoCs), Netra A2000 and Netra R1000, designed for Edge AI applications in IoT products.

The chips are designed to enable advanced AI analytics on the device itself, reducing reliance on cloud-based data processing. This approach enhances product performance, responsiveness, and cost efficiency.

The company offers a suite of SoCs and reference designs catering to over 100 AI/ML use cases. Its technology has garnered interest from major OEMs in sectors such as medical, telecom, and industrial equipment across various countries.
The startup has reported revenue of approximately $0.75 million from its chip design and porting services for strategic partners.
The company projects a 150% revenue growth in FY25, driven by intellectual property (IP) revenue, and expects further expansion when chip volume production begins in FY27.
