Mumbai-based quick service platform Snabbit has successfully raised $5.5 million (approximately INR 47.6 crore) in a Series A funding round, led by Elevation Capital.

The round also saw participation from existing investor Nexus Venture Partners and a group of prominent angel investors, including Meesho co-founders Vidit Aatrey and Sanjeev Barnwal, Unacademy co-founder Gaurav Munjal, and Spinny’s founder Niraj Singh.

The funds will be utilized to expand its market presence by opening new micro-markets across Mumbai over the next six to nine months. Additionally, the investment will support the platform’s efforts to grow its customer base.

Founded in 2024 by Aayush Agarwal, former Chief of Staff at Zepto, Snabbit provides on-demand domestic services such as general cleaning, laundry, and other similar services.

Unlike traditional subscription-based platforms, Snabbit caters to infrequent, momentary demands, allowing users to book services as needed.

The Snabbit app has already garnered over 10,000 downloads on the Google Play Store, and users can book services anywhere from three days in advance to last-minute requests with just a 10-minute notice, depending on the location.

Aayush Agarwal, the founder and CEO of Snabbit, expressed that India holds tremendous untapped potential in the high-frequency home services market. Over the past few months, the team has focused on understanding customer pain points and developing a scalable, innovative model.

The response has been overwhelmingly positive, with thousands of customers acquired within a small serviceable area, driven largely by strong word-of-mouth. This marks just the beginning of what Snabbit sees as a massive opportunity, he added.

Earlier in 2024, the company secured $1 million in seed funding from Nexus Venture Partners to fuel its initial growth.
