The healthcare industry is evolving as more people turn to natural and holistic solutions. Ayurveda, an ancient Indian medical system, is becoming an important part of this transformation.

Dr. Dishya Sewda, co-founder of NSNPL, has been working to bring Ayurveda into modern healthcare, focusing on issues like obesity and autoimmune diseases through natural remedies.

Growing up, she was deeply influenced by her father Dr. Anil Sharma, who promoted natural healing practices. This early exposure led her to pursue a Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery (BAMS) and later advanced studies in clinical cosmetology, trichology, and obesity management.

She wanted to bridge traditional Ayurvedic principles with today’s healthcare needs.

“My father’s dedication to natural care shaped my understanding of how powerful traditional methods can be,” she says. This belief became the cornerstone of her career.

When starting NSNPL, her goal was to make Ayurvedic remedies relevant for modern lifestyles. The brand focuses on providing researched, natural solutions for everyday health challenges.

Its flagship product, Virulina, is a natural supplement aimed at boosting immunity without causing overactivation of the immune system, which can happen with some synthetic options.

Virulina is more than just an immunity booster. It’s a carefully developed solution to support the immune system naturally and effectively,” she explains.

NSNPL focuses on two of today’s major health concerns: obesity and autoimmune conditions.

By using Ayurvedic detoxification techniques, dietary advice, and herbal formulations, the company provides personalized and sustainable approaches to managing these problems.

Despite its benefits, Ayurveda often faces doubts because it lacks clinical trial evidence that is common in modern medicine.

It’s a challenge to convince people, but scientific research is helping us overcome that,” says Dr. Dishya.

By working with researchers, NSNPL ensures its products meet scientific standards while staying true to Ayurvedic principles.

For Virulina, the team conducted studies with scientists to test and prove the benefits of key herbs like Tulsi and Guduchi. These herbs have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that can improve overall immunity.

The research helps make Ayurveda more acceptable to both patients and medical professionals.

Our focus on evidence-based research has helped build trust in our products,” she adds.

The market for Ayurvedic and natural products is expanding as people seek alternatives to chemical-based treatments. NSNPL plans to launch more products to address modern health issues while staying grounded in traditional Ayurvedic knowledge.

As an entrepreneur, Dr. Dishya balances her demanding career with her personal life by practicing what she preaches: a balanced lifestyle.

“For me, it’s about making time for what truly matters. That keeps me energized and motivated,” she says.

Through her efforts, NSNPL has become a brand that connects Ayurveda with the modern-day need for sustainable, natural solutions. It’s an example of how ancient knowledge can successfully meet today’s healthcare demands.
