Mayank Bidawatka, co-founder of the popular social media platform Koo, has raised $4 million for his new venture, Billion Hearts Software Technologies Pvt Ltd.
The funding round was led by Blume Ventures, with additional investments from General Catalyst and Athera Venture Partners.
Prominent figures in the funding round included Karthik Reddy, partner at Blume Ventures; Neeraj Arora, MD at General Catalyst and former CBO at WhatsApp; and Rutvik Doshi, partner at Athera Venture Partners.
This funding follows an earlier $250,000 angel round backed by notable startup builders from companies like redBus, Ola, InMobi, Flipkart, and Myntra.
