Hyderbad-based health and wellness startup Moderate made a notable appearance on Shark Tank India Season 4, Episode 33.
Founded in 2023 by Sreeram Reddy Vanga, Dr. Lalitha Palle, and Kartikeya Kabra, the brand impressed the investors with its innovative solutions for tackling lifestyle diseases like diabetes and obesity.
The founders entered the tank seeking ₹50 lakh for 1.25% equity, valuing the company at ₹40 crore.
Moderate’s pitch stood out as the founders showcased their flagship products – Calorie Crusher, which is a pre-supplement that reduces up to 40% of carbohydrates and associated calories from meals, and Sugar Slayer, a formula designed to lower post-meal blood sugar levels.
The products aim to help individuals manage their health without compromising on their lifestyle, addressing the growing concerns around diabetes and obesity in India.
