Guestara, a hospitality tech startup, has raised $500K in a pre-seed funding round led by industry veteran Sanjay Ghare, alongside contributions from seasoned travel and hospitality tech entrepreneurs.
The funding will accelerate the development of Guestara’s AI-powered guest management platform, aimed at improving operational efficiency, enhancing guest satisfaction, and increasing revenue for hotels globally.
Founded in 2024 by Akshay Dekate (CEO), Neelaksh Gupta, Kajal Makhija, and Rajat Maheshwari, Guestara focuses on streamlining hospitality operations through centralized, AI-driven solutions.
The platform offers features like Unified Inbox, Contactless Mobile Check-In, Omnichannel Guest Engagement, Personalized Upselling, and Smart Checkout, which integrate seamlessly with leading Property Management Systems (PMS).
By transforming guest management into a centralized, intelligent workflow, Guestara empowers hotels, resorts, and vacation rentals to focus on what matters most: delivering memorable guest experiences.
“Hospitality is more than a service—it’s an experience,” said Akshay. “Guestara harnesses AI to help hotels elevate that experience while improving operational efficiency and building guest loyalty. We aim to onboard 2 million rooms globally to drive this transformation.”
Guestara’s beta clients, which include 3 global hotel chains and over 2000 rooms collectively, have reported significant results: a 20% boost in operational efficiency, a 35% rise in guest satisfaction, and a 57% increase in incremental revenue.
By automating repetitive tasks and providing real-time insights, the platform empowers hospitality professionals to focus on enhancing guest experiences.
Sanjay Ghare, who led the funding round, highlighted Guestara’s transformative potential:
“Their AI-first approach delivers tangible benefits, both in terms of efficiency and guest experience. This innovation is a game-changer for the industry.”
The new capital will be utilized to enhance product development and expand Guestara’s reach, targeting a diverse spectrum of hotel partners, from boutique properties to international chains.
