Gargi by PNGS Onboards Actress Mithila Palkar as Brand Ambassador

Fashion jewellery brand Gargi by P N Gadgil & Sons (PNGS) has named Indian actor and influencer Mithila Palkar as its brand ambassador, the company announced in a press release.

As the new face of both PNGS and Gargi, Palkar will feature in the brand’s upcoming marketing campaigns aimed at appealing to the younger generation of jewellery enthusiasts.

“Gargi by PNGS represents the elegance and versatility that every woman seeks. I am thrilled to be part of a brand that celebrates individuality and tradition in such a beautiful way,” Palkar said.

Gargi by PNGS was launched in 2021 under the artificial jewellery segment by the 200-year-old PNGS brand.

“In three years, Gargi has created a distinct space in the jewellery market by offering exceptional designs that balance tradition and modernity,” said Aditya Modak, co-founder of Gargi by PNGS.

He noted the company’s market capitalization stands at over Rs 1,200 crore, adding that the partnership with Palkar marks a significant step in the brand’s growth.

Leveraging the legacy of P N Gadgil & Sons, which has an annual turnover of more than Rs 10,000 crore, Gargi continues to expand its reach. The brand currently operates six exclusive outlets in Mumbai, including locations such as Thane, Nashik, Vashi, Shivajinagar, Wakad, and Sadashiv Peth.

Gargi products are also available online and through over 25 shop-in-shop (SIS) counters within department store chain Shoppers Stop.

Looking ahead, the company plans to open 10 company-owned stores and further expand its shop-in-shop presence across India.

Brands major competitors include Drip Project, Quirksmith, and Diamondere.
