Aarna.ml, an open-source GPU-as-a-Service (GPUaaS) AI cloud software platform, has successfully raised $6.7 million in its Series A funding round. The round was led by Exfinity Venture Partners, a venture capital firm with a strong focus on deep-tech investments.

The company had previously raised $5.5 million in a funding round co-led by NVIDIA, LDV Partners, 3Lines, and CARAT Venture Partners in October 2023. The additional $1.25 million brings the total raised in the Series A round to $6.7 million.

Aarna.ml plans to use the newly secured funds to extend its platform to GPU reference architectures, incorporating high-speed networks and storage, according to a press release by the company.

The platform aims to provide enhanced solutions for GPU-as-a-service providers and NVIDIA Cloud Partners (NCP), enabling them to offer hyper-scaler-grade multi-tenant GPU instances with complete isolation while leveraging a shared underlying GPU pool. This innovation empowers the AI cloud landscape, improving scalability and efficiency for businesses using AI and machine learning.

Co-founded in 2018 by Amar Kapadia and Sriram Rupanagunta, Aarna.ml has positioned itself as a key player in the AI cloud services space.

Commenting on the recent funding, Amar Kapadia, Co-founder and CEO, said, “Beyond the financial support, Exfinity’s expertise in scaling deep-tech startups in cross-border settings will significantly aid our expansion. With Exfinity’s backing, we are poised to extend our reach and enhance our impact in the industry.”

The platform has already attracted significant attention, serving companies such as Tigo, LGE, Equinix, Keysight, CableLabs, and CapGemini Engineering.
