Freshworks, a Chennai- and US-based software company, has appointed Srinivasan Raghavan as its new Chief Product Officer (CPO), completing its leadership team under CEO Dennis Woodside.

In his role, Raghavan will oversee Freshworks’ product strategy with a focus on three key areas: enhancing employee experience (EX), delivering faster and more efficient AI-driven solutions, and improving customer experience (CX). These efforts aim to bolster the company’s presence in the mid-market segment, which has significantly contributed to its recent growth.

Since Woodside took over as CEO in May, Freshworks’ revenue has increased by 22%, reaching $186.6 million, and the company has turned profitable.

Raghavan brings over two decades of experience in software development and leadership. Before joining Freshworks, he served as the CPO at RingCentral, where he led product growth and innovation. His previous roles include senior positions at Five9 and Cisco.

At Freshworks, he will work closely with Murali Swaminathan, the recently appointed Chief Technology Officer, who leads the company’s engineering division.

This appointment follows a year of major leadership changes at Freshworks. Key executives who departed in 2024 include former CPO Srinivasagopalan Ramamurthy in August, India head Karthik Rajaram in March, and Chief Revenue Officer Pradeep Rathinam in February.

Freshworks currently serves over 68,000 customers worldwide, including prominent companies like DTDC, Razorpay, Swiggy, and Jupiter Money. The leadership restructuring reflects Freshworks’ ongoing efforts to innovate and maintain its competitive edge in the software industry.
