Offmint, a unisex and multi-category fashion brand, made a memorable appearance on Shark Tank India Season 4, Episode 28, with a bold pitch that left the sharks stunned.

Founder Ashutosh Roy is the only entrepreneur in the show’s history to pitch two different brands in different seasons.

Ashutosh entered the tank with an unconventional ask—₹10 for 1% equity, valuing his company at just ₹1,000.

“I’m not here for the money; I’m here to seek the Sharks’ expertise as Guru Dakshina,” he shared. “Being on Shark Tank India has been a life-changing experience, and through Offmint, I hope to honor my father’s memory.”

His pitch took an emotional turn as he revealed that his father had passed away on the very day his previous pitch aired.

He also shared a shocking past business experience where a co-founder denied him equity despite their joint Shark Tank appearance.

Amidst his grief, Ashutosh found strength in his family and unexpected support from London-based investor Rani Ahluwalia, who believed in his vision and helped him lay the foundation for Offmint.

Impressed by his resilience and business acumen, the sharks examined Offmint’s financials, which reflected a valuation of ₹2.5 crore.

After thoughtful negotiations, all five sharks—Namita Thapar, Aman Gupta, Peyush Bansal, Anupam Mittal, and Vineeta Singh—joined forces to invest ₹10 lakh for 4% equity at the ₹2.5 crore valuation.

Founded in 2023 and based in Noida, Offmint is a fast-fashion brand offering trendy and affordable apparel and accessories.

With a focus on quality, creativity, and customer satisfaction, the brand aims to make high-street fashion accessible to all.
