Indian content creator and entertainer Bhuvan Bam has partnered with the sexual wellness brand Peppy as a co-founder and investor, the company announced on Thursday via a press release.
“For me, Peppy represents an opportunity to drive a much-needed change in how sexual pleasure is perceived in India,” Bam stated. His collaboration aims to challenge societal norms and foster greater acceptance around conversations on intimacy.
Bam is a versatile personality known for his comedy YouTube channel, BB Ki Vines, which has amassed 26.5 million followers.
His involvement with Peppy will help the brand reach a broader audience by leveraging his extensive digital influence.
This is not Bam’s first foray into startups; in 2022, he invested in HYPD, a creator-owned marketplace startup.
About Peppy:
Founded in 2023 by Devansh Agarwal and Shyamal Gupta, Peppy is positioned as a sexual wellness brand with a vision to normalize the purchase of sexual wellness products, akin to routine purchases like skincare or snacks.
The startup emphasizes quality and accessibility, ensuring products are body-safe and suitable for diverse needs and budgets.

Peppy was bootstrapped initially before raising $500,000 in a pre-seed round in May 2024. Notable investors in the round include Bam, Rohit Raj (Founder and CEO of BBKV Productions), and Dr. Ruchi Gupta. The company currently holds a valuation of ₹50 crore.
The startup is in the process of raising a seed round of $1–2 million to expand its sales and market reach.
Peppy competes with established brands such as Bold Care, MyMuse, and Kindly. In a similar vein, Bold Care introduced actor Ranveer Singh as a co-owner last year.
