Arushi Jain currently works as a Director at Akums Drugs & Pharmaceuticals and as the Founder of StayHappi.

Arushi comes from a family of pharmacists and has worked in retail, distribution, and manufacturing. As a result, she understands the industry gap and the country’s need for affordable medicines.

Arushi is a Company Secretary and a Qualified Chartered Accountant. IIM(A) and MICA graduates (A).

Her adventure began in 2016, when she noticed a gap in the pharmaceutical industry. She realised that drug prices were too high and that consumers did not have enough affordable options.

StayHappi was founded in January 2018 in New Delhi with the goal of ensuring that everyone in the country has access to quality medicine at an affordable price. The brand intends to serve humanity by establishing offline channels through which it can reach consumers/patients and provide them with the authority to make an informed decision and select the appropriate medicine at an affordable price.

Jain founded StayHappi with the intention of providing high-quality, low-cost medicines to people all over India. Her company employs a novel business model that entails bulk manufacturing of generic medications and selling them under the StayHappi brand at significantly lower prices than branded alternatives.

During the early days of StayHappi, she faced numerous challenges. One of the most difficult challenges was convincing people to trust a new brand on the market. She persisted, however, and gradually gained the trust of her customers. Her business model has gained traction, and StayHappi has rapidly expanded, with over 500 stores across India.

Jain’s journey has not been without challenges. The COVID-19 pandemic hit India hard in 2020, forcing StayHappi to close many of its stores. Jain, on the other hand, quickly adapted to her new circumstances and shifted her focus to online sales. She also introduced a new line of products, such as hand sanitizers and face masks, to assist people in staying safe during the pandemic.

Despite the obstacles, Jain remains committed to her vision of making affordable medicines available to people all over India.

StayHappi has a product basket of over 550 medicines that target 70-80 percent of India’s total consumption, almost across all therapeutic segments, with the exception of oncology and tuberculosis.

StayHappi has partnered with India’s leading pharmaceutical manufacturing companies to maintain the highest quality medicine standards.
