Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Consumer Products is making a big move in Bihar by investing ₹1,000 crore to set up Campa Cola’s first manufacturing and bottling plant in Begusarai. The plant will be built on 35 acres of land given by BIADA to EPIC Agro Product Ltd.
Reliance is working on building a strong FMCG business. After buying Campa Cola in 2022, the company has been setting up factories, creating supply chains, and bringing back the classic Indian brand.
The new plant in Begusarai is expected to create jobs, support local businesses, and help the rural economy grow. Earlier this year, Reliance made a similar move in Assam, showing that it is planning to grow all across India.
Adding star appeal, actor Ram Charan has been signed on as the face of Campa Cola’s latest campaign, “Campa Wali Zidd”, which promotes the spirit of perseverance and determination—reflecting the brand’s comeback story.
Campa Cola is becoming popular again, due to its affordable prices and better profits for shopkeepers. Reliance is aiming to earn over ₹1,000 crore from the brand by the end of FY 2024-25.
Reliance isn’t alone in betting on Bihar’s potential. The Adani Group is setting up a cement plant in Nawada, while several IT companies are reportedly in talks with the state government—signaling Bihar’s emergence as a rising industrial hub in India.
