Pickkup raises $500K in seed funding led by We Founder Circle

Chandigarh-based logistics startup Pickkup has secured $500,000 in a seed funding round led by We Founder Circle (WFC), with participation from angel investors across India, Australia, and the USA.

The newly acquired funds will be allocated towards expanding Pickkup’s electric fleet, strengthening its team, and investing in advanced technology to enhance logistics efficiency.

By optimizing fleet utilization and integrating cutting-edge technology, Pickkup aims to provide reliable and eco-friendly logistics solutions for businesses of all sizes.

Established in 2021 by CEO Ankush Sharma, CTO Chandra Shekhar, and COO Upma Sharma, Pickkup specializes in mid-mile and last-mile delivery solutions.

The company is committed to sustainability, operating a 100% electric vehicle (EV) fleet to reduce carbon emissions in the light commercial vehicle (LCV) delivery sector.

Neeraj Tyagi, co-founder and CEO of We Founder Circle, expressed confidence in Pickkup’s mission, stating, “Pickkup represents the future of logistics with its unwavering focus on sustainability and operational excellence.”

We Founder Circle, established in 2020, is a global community of founders and angel investors that offers mentorship and actively invests in early-stage startups.

The firm typically invests between $250,000 to $2 million in startups that demonstrate ambition, sustainability, and a strategic approach.

With this infusion of capital, Pickkup is poised to scale its operations, further its commitment to decarbonizing the logistics industry, and set new standards for efficiency and sustainability in the sector.
