FundooLabs, a brand specializing in chemistry-based DIY scientific kits and sensory toys for children, made an impressive pitch on Shark Tank India Season 4, Episode 27.
Founded in 2016 by engineer-turned-entrepreneur Naitik Chotai, the brand focuses on making science accessible, engaging, and fun for children aged 3 to 14.
Seeking ₹60 lakh for 4% equity at a ₹15 crore valuation, Naitik’s pitch sparked interest among the sharks, leading to discussions about the brand’s market potential and its unique approach to hands-on learning. However, it was his 14-year-old daughter who stole the spotlight with a confident live demonstration, impressing Namita Thapar.
Anupam Mittal further praised Naitik, calling him “the real Santa Claus without a beard.”
FundooLabs has demonstrated consistent financial growth, with sales rising from ₹1.16 crore in FY 2021-22 to ₹1.34 crore in FY 2022-23 and ₹1.98 crore in FY 2023-24.
After deliberation, FundooLabs secured a deal of ₹66 lakh for 7% equity at a ₹9.43 crore valuation from Aman Gupta and Anupam Mittal.
