GreenStitch Raises $1.2 Million Seed Funding to Advance Sustainability in Fashion and Textiles

GreenStitch, a sustainability-focused SaaS platform for the fashion and textile industry, has raised $1.2 million in its seed funding round. The round was led by Equirus InnovateX Fund, with additional participation from Ivycap Ventures, Warmup Ventures, and Zeca Ventures.

Other participants included Ivycap Ventures, Warmup Ventures, and Zeca Ventures, alongside notable climate and fashion industry experts like Anshuman Bapna (founder, Terra.do), Sumit Jain (CTO, Zalora), Pankaj Vermani (founder, Clovia), Amit Kumar (founder, NoBroker), and Senthil Sankar (founder, Ecoline).

The funds will be used to bolster GreenStitch’s team, enhance its platform, and develop a comprehensive emissions database tailored for the fashion and textile sectors.

The company also plans to expand its footprint in key markets, including Bangladesh, Vietnam, and the EU, over the next year and will recruit talent to strengthen its leadership team.

Founded in 2023 by Narendra Makwana and Arpit Samdani, GreenStitch integrates with enterprise ERP and PLM systems to streamline data collection across supply chain tiers.

Its platform bridges data gaps using AI and machine learning, ensuring precise Scope 3 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions calculations.

Additionally, GreenStitch identifies ESG risks in supply chains, providing businesses with a holistic sustainability tool.

Beyond emissions tracking, the platform offers tools for decarbonization and predictive modeling, enabling companies to assess the impact of design choices and supplier decisions on carbon emissions. These insights empower businesses to implement proactive sustainability strategies before production begins, aligning with global sustainability goals.
