Gurugram-based electric vehicle cab service provider BluSmart officially launched its operations in Mumbai on January 1, 2025.
The service offers premium electric rides, providing a sustainable and convenient travel option for the city’s residents.
Punit K. Goyal, Co-Founder of BluSmart, announced in his LinkedIn post, “India’s most reliable and sustainable ride-hailing service has officially launched in Mumbai. Experience the comfort and convenience of premium electric rides and move smarter through the city.”
Founded in 2019 by Anmol Singh Jaggi, Punit K. Goyal, and Puneet Singh Jaggi, BluSmart is South Asia’s first and largest electric ride-hailing service and EV charging network.
In addition to its presence in Delhi NCR and Bengaluru, BluSmart expanded internationally to the UAE in June 2024.
The company differentiates itself by owning all of its electric vehicles and paying its drivers a monthly salary.

BluSmart currently operates a fleet of over 8,500 electric sedans and premium EVs, having covered 680 million clean kilometers to date.
To date, BluSmart has raised a total of $142 million across 13 funding rounds, including its latest Series A round in May 2024, where it secured $24 million, as per Traxcn.
“We’re proud to share that BluSmart has also achieved a $95 million annualized revenue run rate,” said Punit.
The company claims to have completed 21.5 million rides with a 4.9/5 customer rating, consistently setting high standards in the ride-hailing industry.
