FinX Raises $6 Million in Seed Funding from Elevar Equity

FinX, a Mumbai-based skilling platform has secured $6 million in seed funding from impact investor Elevar Equity.

The funds will be used to expand FinX’s geographical presence, diversify its product offerings, and venture into IT skill training.

The investment will bolster the enhancement of its technology platform to develop scalable solutions that address the increasing demand for skilled talent across various industries.

Founded in 2019 by Himanshu Vyapak and Upasana Koul, FinX partners with universities and colleges to address the gap between academic education and BFSI industry requirements.

The platform offers vocational training, industry-recognized certifications, and job-assured programs with placement assistance to make students job-ready in the BFSI sector.

Its offerings include online courses and financial certifications recognized by the Indian Banks Association (IBA), the Association of Mutual Funds of India (AMFI), and the General Insurance Council.

FinX claims to have a workforce of about 80 employees and over 1,000 trainers operating across 100 cities in India. The startup has trained more than 40,000 students through partnerships with over 300 colleges in 12 states.

Himanshu Vyapak, Co-Founder and CEO, brings over 16 years of experience from his tenure at Reliance Nippon Life Asset Management (RNAM), where he served as Deputy CEO before co-founding FinX.
