Mehta has guided the company through a period of fast growth and expansion since taking over as CEO. Aye Finance has over 200 locations across India and has disbursed over Rs 5,500 crore ($740 million) in loans to over 225,000 micro and small businesses under his supervision.

Aye Finance P Limited is an accredited Great Place to Work company. By succeeding on the five aspects of a High-Trust, High-Performance CultureTM – Credibility, Respect, Fairness, Pride, and Camaraderie – the organisation has established a Great Place to Work FOR ALL of their employees. Aye Finance P Limited is ranked second among India’s Best Companies to Work For in 2022.

Aye Finance has pioneered the use of alternate data from its markets to derive loan insights, and it employs low-cost mobility and cloud-based technologies to reach India’s thriving and underserved micro enterprises.

Aye Finance thinks that the objective for today’s employees is to understand the culture, prospects for advancement, and commitment to social goals that result from their employment.

Aye communicates through a variety of platforms, including blue boards at each branch, posters, WhatsApp, email, Town Halls for all branches, and HRMS, to increase transparency and make the organisation’s culture visible. Their communication strategy is both push and pull. Their communication is translated into all of the languages spoken by their people.

Their training is conducted in local languages, and participants are encouraged to ask questions in their own tongue. Their documents are likewise available in a variety of languages. When COVID-19 hit and everyone was compelled to stay at home, the need to keep connected was felt like never before. This resulted in the creation of ‘Aye Radio,’ their own in-house medium for successfully reaching all Ayetians, which was debuted in April 2020. This is a really simple platform where employees do not need to download any applications and may listen to old episodes whenever and wherever they want on any device. The radio gave all Ayetians the advantage of sharing all conceivable information while also providing enjoyment.

Some of Aye Finance P Limited’s best people practices and initiatives include:

Khulke Bolo: Employees are encouraged to speak up openly and share feedback and concerns as part of this campaign. The CEO’s office door is always accessible to the public, as is the branch. Leadership spends more time with the team on the floor than in the office. Leaders make sure that during monthly Branch visits, where 80% of our employees are stationed, they take them out for an informal lunch / supper where the branch staff is more at ease to speak freely. Every day, someone from the leadership pays a visit to a branch. This guarantees that the branch staff has many opportunities throughout the year to see the leaders in person.

Aye Academy: Aye Academy is a business-specific training and development institute. It can be thought of as a “central educational hub.” It is a strategic tool for the organisation’s personnel training. Its primary goal is to translate the organisation’s strategy into training programmes that are relevant to the employees and the firm. Furthermore, it focuses on bringing development activities to the bottom of the Aye employee pyramid. Aye Academy has assisted employees in building a learning culture, which would allow them to focus on self-development and self-learning.
