True Diamond Raises $1 Million in Seed Funding

True Diamond, a Mumbai-based lab-grown diamond jewellery brand, has raised $1 million in seed funding.

The funding round was led by Titan Capital, with additional participation from Huddle Ventures, Zeropearl Ventures, and several personal investors, including notable figures like Ashutosh Valani, Priyank Shah, Aashka Goradia Goble, Ghazal Alagh (founder of Mamaearth), Abhishek Goyal, and Anmol Jain.

The fresh capital will be used to enhance the company’s operations, including expanding its team, boosting brand visibility, and recruiting jewellery experts and consultants.

The startup also plans to open exclusive boutique outlets in Mumbai and Delhi NCR and increase its investments in marketing and branding efforts to reach a wider audience.

Founded in January 2024 by Parin Shah and Darayus Mehta, True Diamond is dedicated to providing sustainable, lab-grown diamonds that offer an eco-friendly alternative to mined diamonds.

The brand specializes in luxury jewellery products, including rings, earrings, necklaces, mangalsutras, bracelets, and tennis bracelets, with a focus on customized jewellery and men’s collections.
