Space technology startup GalaxEye has successfully raised $10 million in its latest Series A funding round, led by MountTech Growth Fund. This follows an earlier Series A round in which the company secured $6.5 million.
The fresh funds will accelerate the development of GalaxEye’s upcoming satellite mission, scheduled to launch in 2025, to deliver high-quality, all-weather, multi-sensor data.

Founded in 2020 by Suyash Singh, Denil Chawda, Kishan Thakkar, Pranit Mehta, and Rakshit Bhatt, GalaxEye focuses on providing precise data sourced from space and aerial platforms.
The company integrates Optical Multispectral Imaging (MSI) and Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) sensors to offer essential data across multiple sectors, including defense, surveillance, agriculture, insurance, and aquaculture.
Notably, GalaxEye has developed India’s first UAV SAR system specifically designed for defense applications, with over 300 successful UAV SAR flights conducted.

The Indian government recently approved a ₹1,000 crore Venture Capital Fund dedicated to supporting space-sector startups. This fund is expected to aid around 40 startups across the country, promoting innovation and growth within the space technology sector.
GalaxEye’s progress marks a significant milestone in India’s emerging private space industry, with its upcoming satellite mission promising to provide critical data solutions to a broad range of industries.
